Floral Vase Yarn Art | Wednesday, March 11th 6:00pm – 8:00pm

$35.00 USD

Try something completely different that will challenge your skills with a hammer and nails, and create a unique decorative piece that can be admired hanging on a wall, or self-standing on a shelf or table.

DATE & TIME: Wednesday, March 11th  |  6:00pm – 8:00pm

LOCATION: Albany Art Room, 350 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208

PROJECT DETAILS:  I will provide you with a sanded piece of wood that you can paint with your color of choice. Next, you will be given your choice of (2) templates for the shape of the vase. After marking your vase on the wood, you will tap away to complete the shape with finishing nails. There will be many colors of yarn for you to choose from and begin to weave your vase into shape. I will provide a few random pieces of silk and dried florals for you to use as placeholders to fill your vase when finished. The idea is for you to then shop for floral fillers that will best suit the interior of your home environment. This piece can be reused again and again to complete your seasonal home decorating by simply replacing the yarn and florals to match your theme.

All materials are supplied.

No walk-ins. Pre-registration required.

If you wish to enroll your child (10+) please take into account that this can be a challenging project for some kids.
