Kids Paper Art - Starbursts! Monday, December 30th 10:00am – 12:00pm

$28.00 USD

Let the kids get crafty during their holiday break! And if you choose, join them!

Kids 10+ will love crafting this beautiful and bold paper starburst. If you can trace, use a ruler and scissors, you will build a unique and beautiful paper star that can be hung or framed when finished.

DATE & TIME: Monday, December 30th, 2019  |  10:00am – 12:00pm

LOCATION: Albany Art Room, 350 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208

PROJECT DETAILS:  I will provide step-by-step instruction and assist you through the process of creating this beautiful paper art starburst. It's so much easier than it looks, and it's made from circles! You select your color palette and choose from a wide variety of fun, patterned papers to begin your project. You can then get as detailed and large as you want. You can choose to finish your stars in 2 ways: mount them on solid background paper for framing, or cut out to shape to hang freely on your wall. Most stars will measure 16" in diameter when completed.

Have fun with your friends, learn about symmetry, color, and patterns, and take home a paper art project that is uniquely yours.

No walk-ins. Pre-registration required.

***PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: Children ages 10+ are welcome and should independently be able to manage super glue, and read a ruler, to successfully craft this.

All materials are supplied and include paper, scissors, ruler, pencil, glitter, rhinestones, glue (both Elmer's and super), Scotch tape and washi tape.
